For decades the HOTHEAD has been a household name in the television and film industry. Egripment’ s years of experience and proven quality has made us rethink our old HOTHEAD, the HOTHEAD 3. New in looks and "Swiss" quality of drive. With a payload of 70kg | 155 lbs, it is the largest and strongest head of our product line.
The HOTHEAD 3 is super-fast and able to realize very nice fluid movements. The reaction speed is unprecedented with the heavy camera package(s) it’s able to carry. You can expect the EGRIPMENT quality when it comes to reliability and durability of the new HOTHEAD 3!

The HotHead MK3 (ip) is Egripment's top of the range remotely controlled DIGITAL pan and tilt head. This head gives the camera operator complete remote control of all functions of TV or Film cameras, whilst allowing him to pan and tilt through a full 360 degrees at speeds ranging between 2,5 seconds and 148minutes.

This total control offers directors, producers and cinematographers unique flexibility that satisfies the most demanding audiences. The HotHead allows your creativity to become reality.
Besides Film also Broadcast quality transmission of all camera functions such as zoom and focus. Egripment remote heads are all part of a modular system that can be controlled via the same control consoles and cabling system.

The "new" Hothead MK3 can be controlled over IP or fiber with a convertor box in between. If your are using the HotHead in Broadcast environments you connect the cabling via the IP trunk of the camera so you only have to pull 1 camera fiber cable to the HotHead position.
